In honour of the freshly launched tokukinkmeme, I took another look at the kink meme for Kamen Rider specifically, right here.

An overview of the period when it was most active with prompts and fills posted:

• Most active period: 05 Nov 2014 - 17 March 2016 (16 months / 1 year 4 months | 12 DW pages | ~300 comment threads)

Also did a quick count to find out:

• Dreamwidth comments: 25 comment threads/page

Thanks for taking the time to put these stats together! I do love myself some fandom stats. :D It's really interesting getting a look into the activity from past years, and getting an idea of which time period was the most active.

After sharing the history of this kink meme in my other comment, I realised the value of taking a closer look at its development, since considering the fandom culture its success was like capturing lightning in a bottle. A quick glance at the other DW memes and those hosted on LJ revealed that it's unusual to even get 100 comments in total, both prompts and fills.

Only after going through the meme's comment did I discover that the bulk of its activity was sustained over a year! So it's possible for toku, or at least Kamen Rider fans, to keep checking back on a fic meme hosted on Dreamwidth for months even in periods without a mass migration to Dreamwidth from other platforms.
