BTOB Back Again
Mar. 26th, 2024 10:20 amMildly obsessed with the dance practice video of BTOB's "Wow", especially with younger Ilhoon. His visuals don't do it for me in other pictures/videos, but he looks so cute here! 😍 His parts at the start and end of the song has entrapped me into rewatching the dance practice video over and over again -- no one told me he'd be a magnetic centre and his rap is fire 🔥
Actually everyone here looks great. Special shout-out to younger Peniel and Hyunsik too! And what's up with that deliberate zoom to Minhyuk's hip grinding in the video's second half?? (Understandable anyhow since it's Minhyuk lol.) It's also refreshing and a bit surprising to see BTOB perform a typical thirsty boy group concept since their current predominant image is of them being a mature group with powerful vocals.
No idea who else except for me would take dance practice videos over actual MVs. I just prefer seeing attractive guys performing in every day clothes I guess and the simplicity of the looks and location allows me to better appreciate the choreography.
"Wow" has been in my playlist for a while, but I only started listening to it a lot more after thinking that it fits the latest ship I'm into (Daisuke/Takeru from Digimon Adventure 02). Around this time last year I was obsessed with GOT7's "You Calling My Name" since linking it with Edo/Ryo from Yugioh GX. Yay for having multiple obsessions at once!
