Interconnected Amusing Camping AU Plots

g_uavaIn a Discord I'm in, I got inspired to imagine how an author could create a bunch of fics to post as treats for a holiday exchange. I went further to brainstorm the potential fics as Camping AUs of one big larger story taking place at the same time for which the different exchange recips could later piece together like one big Super Sentai mecha 😂
These are the plots I thought up that would perhaps fulfill many of the holiday exchange's open-ended requests:
Fic #01: Guy tries to impress his crush by starting the BBQ fire on his own, only for his shirt to catch fire.
Fic #02: The incident of guy catching fire in Fic #01 interrupts Fic #02's narrator attempt at confessing to his/her/their crush who is assigned to the same tent.
Fic #03: Narrator itches to post on social media about guy in Fic #01 catching fire, foiling his/her/their love interest's efforts to take his/her/their mind of being deprived of Wifi. Eventually a confession happens in Fic #02, inspiring the love interest of Fic #03 to also confess.
Fic #04: Narrator is in an established relationship with a fellow camp counsellor. In place of being lovey dovey together to appear professional, narrator tries to subtly matchmake the couples of Fic #01 to #03.
Fic #05: Narrator has a crush/partner who can't attend the camp, to whom narrator drafts a long letter narrating an outsider's perspective on the events of Fic #01 to #04. Ultimately narrator misses crush/partner too much and finds a way to get out of camp to go where crush/boyfriend is.
Then perhaps each fic could include hyperlinks to other fics in the larger interconnected story. Hopefully the recips and all other readers would not only be extra entertained, but also extra inspired to complete their end of year reviews and reflect on the larger picture of the past year 😌
